Grab a pen and paper and write them down in a notebook or in an email. Make it the first thing you write down in a day. You can also email it to loved ones.
Stop at each one, close your eyes, smile and feel the love, passion, and happiness of what you are grateful for. Shifting our perspective to a more feeling-oriented goal infuses us with vibrant joy and a deep appreciation for everything we have.
We also recommend that you add one more thing that you are grateful for each day. Tomorrow write 5 things you are grateful for, increasing to 10 by the 7th day, and then continue doing 10 each day.
The act of making a gratitude list must be authentic, otherwise it loses its purpose. Don't make a dry list of things.
Remember - it’s important to read your gratitude list daily to remind yourself of all the blessings you have in your life.
And guess what? IT WORKS!
We have been doing these gratitude emails and sending them to each other for close to 4 years ….DAILY!
