Graphene-X Kyorene clothing review: nourish tank, thermagraph pants, and everywhere jumpsuit

I pride myself on being a very active person. In addition to teaching and practicing yoga, I love to run, cycle, go to the gym, and get tangled in an aerial hammock.

There are times when I spend a whole day in activewear. Needless to say, I need apparel that is reliable, presentable, and comfortable. And while I can afford to get sweaty on my run, my outfit has to stay odor-free when I’m teaching.

This review covers three pieces from the brand new collection by (Graphene-X in collaboration with Kyorene), made with their specialized performance fabric with features incuding breathability, odor resistance, and anti-bacterial properties.

Over the course of two weeks, I truly put these items to the test. After wearing Graphene-X activewear in a variety of situations (both casual wear and exercise), here’s what stood out.

If you’re curious about the exact pieces I tested, you can check the current collection here.

Graphene-X × Kyorene activewear collection

Graphene-X specializes in innovative clothing tech, particularly geared toward fitness and outdoor activities. In 2022, the company won an ISPO award which recognizes significant products in sports for their AeroGraph Puffer Jacket that uses the same insulation technology as NASA!

From base layers to outerwear, Graphene-X strives to develop the most functional of clothing made with purpose. The most recent activewear release includes three items:

  • Everywhere Jumpsuit
  • Nourish Tank
  • Thermagraph Pants

For this set, Graphene-X teamed up with Kyorene (a company that pioneered graphene integrated fabrics) to create material that was lightweight, breathable, moisture-wicking, odor-resistant, as well as anti-bacterial and anti-UV.

Part of the mission was to ensure that the athletic pieces were stretchy enough to accommodate movement while maintaining their integrity and fitting well.

Fabric Technology: Graphene-X × Kyorene®

The pieces in this collection use fabric enhanced with Kyorene graphene fiber technology, which is developed from a carbon material that is both extremely lightweight and strong.

In textile applications, graphene is integrated directly into the weave of the fabric rather than applied as a coating. This bonding process allows the material to retain several functional properties:

  • Odor resistance due to bacteriostatic properties
  • Thermal regulation
  • Moisture management and breathability
  • Squat-proof density while remaining lightweight
  • Combination of stretch and long-term integrity

These types of fibers are increasingly used in performance clothing and sportswear, where durability, breathability, and odor control are especially

Everywhere jumpsuit

The Everywhere Jumpsuit is a one-piece with adjustable H-style straps, a built-in padded bra (with removable pads), and flared legs. It also comes with a removable elastic belt with a front buckle.

This body suit was designed with versatility in mind. The idea behind this piece is that you can wear it exercising but it is equally suitable for travel, going out with your friends, or delivering a boardroom presentation.

I tested it in several settings:

  • Yoga practice at the gym
  • Aerial yoga at a local community center
  • Working remotely from a café (styled with an extra layer for warmth)

Nourish tank

Image and metrics from Graphene-X website.

The Nourish Tank is a seamless racerback tank with a built-in bra, with a very clean and flattering silhouette. The tank is full length, reaching roughly to the hip bones, which I personally prefer for activewear.

The seamless construction helps avoid visible lines across the body, and you can wear it tucked in or over the top of leggings or other pants. Mostly, I wore it with Thermagraph Pants (see below) for a series of workouts:

  • Outdoor and treadmill runs
  • Weight lifting at the gym
  • Inversion practice (handstands and forearm stands)

I also wore it casually with jeans and shorts, and the simple design works well outside the gym.

Thermagraph pants

The high-waisted Thermagraph leggings feature seams that seem to be bonded or glued rather than traditionally stitched, creating a seamless effect that looks flattering on the body and eliminates friction points during activity.

They also include a removable belt with a larger clasp. Similar to the jumpsuit, I’m not entirely convinced the belt is necessary for workouts, but it does make the leggings easier to style casually. The belt loops are bonded and stitched, but you don’t feel them against the skin, which I liked.

As I tested them paired with the Nourish Tank, a few functional details stood out:

  • No front seam, which means no camel toe
  • Squat-proof fabric
  • Subtle compression detail that enhances shape around the glutes

Fit, feel, and first impressions

The Everywhere Jumpsuit can see you through a sweaty yoga class with style and support.

I ordered all the items in size XS. For reference, my measurements are:

  • Hips 86 cm (34.5 in)
  • Bust 82 cm (32 in)
  • Waist 66 cm (26 in)
  • Height 158 cm (5’2″)

I normally wear an extra small in most brands, although I did find the size chart on the website a little confusing. Even as I unboxed the items, my main concern was that they looked rather small, especially the Thermagraph Pants.

I’m happy to say, my worries were unfounded. Not only did the Graphene-X activewear fit my body, it made me look amazing! The tank and leggings felt like a second skin, and the Everywhere Jumpsuit was very flattering in and out of the gym.

Although the jumpsuit looked beautiful on me, I had roughly 8-10 cm (3-4 inches) of extra fabric at the bottom. At the height of 5’2″, sadly it’s a common issue for me. The suit worked great styled with heels, but to wear it barefoot in a yoga class it would need to be tailored.

Finally, all three pieces felt incredibly luxurious and soft to touch. The fabric is also surprisingly dense for such a lightweight material; there were no embarassing seethrough moments no matter how stretched the clothes got.

Extra features

Woman in Graphene-X Kyorene Nourish Tank and Thermagraph Pants after a workout demonstrating sweat resistant and breathable activewear
Even after a long and sweaty workout, the outfit has no moisture stains or sagging fabric.

I was pleasantly surprised by the built-in bra, particularly in the Nourish Tank. Like many female athletes, I have had disappointing experiences in the past where the built-in feature was not the right fit.

Both the jumpsuit and the tank top have the option to remove the pads as a matter of preference or in case you want to wear a separate bra. For the purpose of this review, I wore these pieces as they come to see how they perform without additional support.

The belts on the juimpsuit and Thermagraph Pants did not appear particularly functional to me. However, if you’re looking for “chameleon” pieces that can act both as activewear and work clothes, the belt can make a big difference in elevating the outfit.

You should also note that while the belts are removable, the belt loops remain visible. With the seamless feel of the leggings, wearing a slightly longer top easily covers the loops. On the jumpsuit, the thin loops on the sides of the waist looked slightly out of place to me, which is why I preferred to leave the belt in.

Sizing and color options

The Graphene-X Kyorene activewear collection comes in two colors: black and navigator blue.

Every item in the Graphene-X Kyorene collection is available in five sizes, ranging from women’s XS-XL.

You can choose between black or deep blue if you prefer a splash of color. If you’re anything like me, you might get both for some variety!

Performance

The graphene intergrated fabric is designed to give you mobility while maintaining strength and integrity.

The Nourish Tank impressed me the most during these tests. In all my years of running and other dynamic workouts, I’ve never been able to rely on a built-in bra for high-impact activity. But in this tank top, I felt supported enough to run and invert, which was a very pleasant surprise. Of course, experiences may vary depending on body type or cup size, but for me it worked out really well.

Additionally, the Nourish Tank goes with any leggings, shorts, jeans, or sweatpants thanks to its clean and simple design.

The Thermagraph Pants were clearly designed with women in mind. Between the seamless fit that doesn’t rub or cut in anywhere and no front seam, these leggings perfectly combine comfort with function. I wasn’t blessed with a booty, so I also appreciated the subtle compression detail to help me look more sculpted.

I can confirm that these leggings are 100% squat-proof and basically suitable for any sport.

The Everywhere Jumpsuit, on the other hand, is more appropriate for low-impact activity like walking or yoga. The built-in bra and neckline design didn’t fully contain everything when upside down. That said, I did appreciate the adjustable straps, which helped customize the fit.

For aerial yoga specifically, the flared legs weren’t ideal, because they occasionally caught on the hammock fabric. That said, this is very specific to aerial practice and might not affect most activities.

After wearing this for 2 weeks straight (yes, even teaching in it), I kind of get why people are into graphene fabrics, you can explore the full collection here

Outside of the gym: does the Everywhere Jumpsuit live up to the name?

One of the selling points of the Everywhere Jumpsuit is its versatility.

“from pilates to planes to presentations”

To test this claim, I wore the jumpsuit while doing remote work from a cafe, which included video calls with clients. I styled the suit with a pair of high-heel boots and a long-sleeve top underneath.

In my opinion, the belt is what really helps to create the separation between the fitness outfit and a cleaner, more sophisticated look. I would happily wear the Everywhere Jumpsuit to an outing with friends or colleagues, or an event like a concert or art exhibition.

Fabric and functionality

Across the board, the fabric quality was top-notch. It feels smooth, lightweight, and comfortable; meanwhile, it was supportive and dense enough without being see-through.

The amount of stretch accommodates virtually any range of movement, yet the clothes still hold their shape during movement. The elasticity of the fabric also meant that the pieces fit me like a glove, without creating awkward rolls or lines across my body.

Performance-wise, this is what impressed me about the material:

  • Quick drying even after a very sweaty workout
  • Moisture wicking means the sweat doesn’t weigh down the garment
  • No lingering odor (great for yoga teachers and other fitness professionals)
  • Tight and supportive without feeling restrictive
  • No embarassing sweat stains
  • No noticeable decline in quality after laundry

Structure and aesthetic

The Graphene-X × Kyorene collection was designed with women in mind.

Finally, I want to touch upon the design. Technical brands can be so focused on performance that they completely sideline the comfort and visual aspects, especially when it comes to sportswear.

The opposite is also true for many brands, where the clothes may look great but are not fit for purpose.

Considering that Graphene-X is a brand with 95% male audience, I was incredibly impressed that they managed to create premium women’s activewear that combines the aesthetics with functionality to this degree. It feels like a product designed by someone who respects and appreciates female athletes and wants us to look good while we’re crushing our goals.

I didn’t realize this at first, but Graphene-X has actually been featured in WWD recently. The article goes deeper into how they’re building the brand around graphene as a performance material, which made me look at this collection a bit differently:

After reading that, a lot of the fabric claims started to make more sense in practice.

Who will love this collection?

  • Versatile athletes who refuse to settle. The tank and leggings in particular transition well between different sports, perfect for multi-disciplined athletes.
  • People who want workout clothing that looks good outside of the gym. The clean silhouettes and thoughtful design make them easy to style for casual wear.
  • Travellers or minimalists. Since the pieces are versatile and fairly neutral (especially in black), they can function as multi-purpose clothing when packing light.
  • Anyone who values technical fabrics. If you appreciate performance materials that focus on durability, odor resistance, and moisture management, the graphene-enhanced fabric is worth the investment.

Pros

  • High-grade graphene integrated fabric that feels lightweight and durable
  • Quick-drying and odor-resistant, even after intense workouts
  • Materials are anti-bacterial and anti-UV
  • Squat-proof material suitable for gym training
  • Seamless effect of the Thermagraph Pants and Nourish Tank ensures comfort
  • No front seam in the Thermagraph Pants, avoiding camel toe
  • Built-in bra in the Nourish Tank provides support even in high-impact execise
  • The Everywhere Jumpsuit is easy to style as a lifestyle piece for work, social events, or special occasions
  • The Everywhere Jumpsuit has adjustable straps to customize the fit and level of support

  • All three pieces have flattering silhouettes which helps with confidence
  • Each piece comes in a zipper pouch, excellent for storage and travel

Cons

  • Premium price point is at the top of the range for similar products ($69 for Nourish Tank, $99 for Thermagraph Pants, $119 for Everywhere Jumpsuit)
  • The purpose of belts on the Everywhere Jumpsuit and Thermagraph Pants appears solely aesthetic
  • Flared legs on the jumpsuit aren’t ideal for certain activities like aerial yoga
  • The jumpsuit’s built-in bra was not able to fully contain the cleavage during inversions
  • Sizing chart may be confusing (but there is a 30-day free exchange period)
  • Limited sizes available (women’s XS-XL)

Final thoughts

Woman wearing Graphene-X Kyorene Nourish Tank and Thermagraph Pants posing in a modern gym during activewear review
Wearing the Nourish Tank and Thermagraph Pants set made me feel more confident in the gym.

Overall, this collection left me incredibly impressed, both from a technical and the aesthetic standpoint. Wearing these activewear pieces from Graphene-X, not only did I feel beautiful, I also felt more confident knowing there is no odor, sweat stains, seethrough underwear, or spilling cleavage.

For me, the Nourish tank and Thermagraph leggings were the stronger pieces. They felt reliable during runs, gym sessions, and yoga, and transitioned easily into everyday wear. The Everywhere Jumpsuit, while visually flattering and versatile in theory, felt more suited to casual styling and low-impact activity.

This feels like a collection that sits somewhere between technical sportswear and lifestyle clothing. It won’t replace highly specialized gear for every activity, but it offers a balance of performance and versatility.

What stayed consistent across all three pieces was the fabric quality. It feels comfortable on the skin, performs well across different types of movement, and holds up in terms of moisture control and odor resistance.

If you’re looking for stylish, versatile and functional women’s sportswear, Graphene-X × Kyorene collection is definitely worth investing in!

FAQs

Kyorene uses a fabric technology that incorporates graphene into the fibers. Compared to standard materials like polyester or nylon, it’s designed to be more durable, better at regulating temperature, and more resistant to odor buildup.

It gave me a bit more context on what they’re trying to do with graphene fabrics, which made testing this collection even more interesting.

From my testing, it does a good job. After workouts, the pieces didn’t hold onto the smell in the way some synthetic fabrics do. They also dried quickly, which helps reduce odor over time.

I am confident in saying that the Nourish tank and Thermagraph leggings can handle almost anything. I tested them while running, lifting, and doing yoga, and they held up well in terms of comfort, support, and movement.

The jumpsuit is best suited for low-impact exercise.

This will depend on your body and preference, but I was able to run in the Nourish Tank. That said, support levels may vary depending on your size and shape.

Since I’ve only had these items for a short time, I cannot speak on longevity. However, if the first weeks of use are a good indicator of overall quality, this collection is a great investment.
