This centre is a bright space with many windows, beautiful hard wood floors, hangers for your coats, and restrooms outside of the yoga room. Everything you need for your practice is available; you can use the yoga mats, blankets, and bolsters free of charge.
Lotus Yoga Centre is owned and run by the kind and radiant Gurushabd Khalsa, who was born in a Kundalini Ashram in Toronto. Gurushabd’s parents, Sat Dharam Kaur and Har-Prakash Khalsa, founded the space in 1993 as a centre for Kundalini Yoga and Wellness. Now, the space has come full circle to their daughter. Gurushabd is a true light and embodiment of the healing of Kundalini Yoga and her energy shines throughout the Lotus Yoga Centre.

Kundalini yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan®, is considered the most comprehensive of yoga traditions, combining meditation, mantra, physical exercises, and breathing techniques; it is a Raj or King Yoga. Kundalini yoga is the yoga of awareness – it opens your heart and gives you a powerful experience of your soul. It is designed to work on the entire nervous and glandular systems, stimulating overall health and vitality.
