French Bakery in the heart of Canggu

The café is situated on the central street between unripe rice fields leading down towards the famous Canggu surf beach Batu Bolong, known to regulars and locals alike as ‘Old Man’s Beach’.
An aroma of freshly baked bread and coffee beans greets you as you enter Monsieur Spoon.
Seating overlooks a spacious and lush garden, the perfect place to surrender and enjoy a tasty meal.
A culinary array of strawberry and lemon tarts, macarons in full colour and gamma are displayed at the back of the restaurant, making for a pure visual delight.
The bakery serves a wide range of handmade French pastries, cakes, artisan bread and savouries that are healthy and appetizing.
The staff is fully trained in a traditional French style, the service is speedy and welcoming. There’s a solid selection of breakfast options for all tastes and desires.
If you’re in the mood for something lighter, they serve green salads and other vegetarian options, as well as fresh fruit juices and natural wheat grass drinks. Gluten-free options (mainly cakes) are also available.
The Monsieur Spoon café was created as the result of a passion for food and pastries, dreamt up by its French owner and head chef Rafi Papazian.
Rafi, who founded Monsieur Spoon (now sold to a Jakarta Investor) along with his cousin, Gregory Guerguerian, also have three other locations 4 other locations in Seminyak, Umalas and Ubud, Pererenan.
Chef Rafi seems to know all of his regular customers and chats with everyone, which helps to create a fun and casual atmosphere.
He wants his customers to have an incredible experience and assures them that the food served at Monsieur Spoon is infused with love and use only the best quality ingredients
