About Karin Ebner
Yoga is my passion. An Austrian native, I discovered yoga around 2001 through a friend's recommendation while living in the USA. Since then, I've extensively studied yoga philosophy and practiced various yoga asanas. My exploration led me to delve into Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and more. I received my 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate through Yoga Alliance and have had the privilege of studying with many renowned teachers around the world.
Personal Transformation Through Yoga
But long story short, yoga has profoundly changed me and my life. For many years, I was engulfed in the rat race, running a successful real estate practice that allowed me to be my own boss, yet also ensnared me in a stressful life, being at the beck and call of clients 24/7. Yoga taught me to prioritize my well-being and honor my unique journey, enabling me to fully embrace life and follow my Dharma. The most significant changes occurred in my thoughts and my heart: patience with myself, compassion for others, and acceptance of things as they are. Yoga serves as my compass, always guiding me to my true north—an experience I am eager to share.
Current Endeavors and Teaching
I heeded the deepest call within and found a sanctuary in Costa Rica, where I now share my experience and hope to inspire others to find their true north. I teach Bhakti Vinyasa Flow, Sunset Yoga, and Yoga for Surfers, and help people find presence and get grounded through yoga retreats in beautiful sanctuaries around the world. When not teaching yoga, I engage in nature photography and am preparing for my 500-hour teacher training certificate.
