I have been a long-standing yoga instructor teaching on both the East and West Coasts. I enjoy teaching yoga because it allows me to guide my students into a deeper understanding of themssleves. I use the poses as a metaphor for practitioners of yoga to notice where their resistance lives and then invite them to change it.
Yoga to me is much more than just a physical exercise; it is a movement into a greater sense of health and vitality. The manner in which I teach helps students to heal from old injuries, gain a deeper sense of self confidence and balance their body/mind. I try to promote a non-violetnt style of yoga that respects the body and removes competition and dominance.
