AphroChic is developed to examine the interconnection of contemporary architecture and cultural globalization across different populations, with a focus on the African American community's culture, creativity, layout, arts, fashion, and technology.

Jeanine Hays as well as Bryan Mason, a husband-and-wife team, founded AphroChic in 2007.

The company began as a blog before expanding rapidly into creative fields like interior design, product development, fashion, as well as content creation.

The couple launched AphroChic Mag, which combines all of their talents into a single platform.

Jeanine and Bryan seem to be experts at encouraging creativity as well as telling a story thru social media and video, as well as connecting brands with a diverse audience, particularly this same African American community.

AphroChic has collaborated with several Fortune 500 companies, including LOWE's, The Home Depot, as well as IKEA.

The brand has been showcased in online and print in numerous publications, including The Ny Times, Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, and New York Magazine, which named AphroChic one of New York City's top interior design firms.

REMIX: Decorating with Culture, Objects, and Soul, written by Jeanine and Bryan, is published by Penguin Random House.

In 2017, they created HGTV's Sneak Preview To AphroChic, a tour of the house series that was only available on HGTV's Facebook Live channel. They live in New york, New York.
