Binh Le
ABOUT
Binh began his education at the age of six at a Shaolin Kung Fu school and it was here that he first developed an awareness of body and soul. He was impressed by the depth of martial art and after six years changed to Traditional Taekwondo. His teacher gave him the honour of allowing him to teach at the school.
His desire to develop himself further both mentally and physically led him to Parkour which at that time was an unknown sport. As a result of the enjoyment he experienced in training with the founders of this movement and with highly experienced athletes he was led to pass on his knowledge to others shortly afterwards. Binh toured through Europe for several years teaching groups of up to 250 people in major cities. Even after years of physical discipline and self-command his yearning for mental freedom was not satisfied and this brought him into contact with Yoga and Shamanism.
After multiple stays of several months in India, during which he experienced Yoga directly at its source and completed a teacher training certification, he was led to Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga according to the traditions of Sri K. Patthabi Jois. He is currently entering into the Third series under his teacher Petri Räisänen. Binh teaches traditional Mysore, led classes and workshops around the world.
With the help of Ayahuasca, a master plant from the Amazon, he gains an ever deeper perspective of his soul and through this a deep understanding of his fellow human beings. He employs this knowledge and sensitivity to support and encourage his participants in their practice through the use of energy.
