<p>I completed my chef training at The School of Natural Cookery in Boulder, Colorado. I live with my family in Northern California where I continue to create magic in the kitchen and working on new delightful treats. Since 2008 I have been the author of the well-loved vegan comfort food column, &ldquo;<a href="http://www.allisonsgourmet.com/recipes-and-writings">Veganize It!</a>&rdquo; in VegNews Magazine, which won &ldquo;Favorite Column&rdquo; for 2011 in VegNews' popular Veggie Awards reader&rsquo;s poll. I love to share my passion for food through my writing.</p>
