Kino MacGregor

A life dedicated to Yoga and spiritual growth

Kino MacGregor is a renowned international yoga teacher, author, and inspirational speaker. With over two decades of experience in Ashtanga Yoga and Vipassana meditation, she has become a prominent figure in the global yoga community. Kino’s Scottish and Japanese heritage influences her unique approach to yoga and spirituality. She and her husband Tim Feldmann live in Miami and teach internationally together.

A transformational journey into Yoga

At the age of 19, Kino began practicing yoga, seeking healing and inner peace. Her journey led her to Mysore, India, where she studied under K. Pattabhi Jois, the founder of Ashtanga Yoga. After seven years of dedicated study, she became one of the youngest practitioners to receive a teaching certification at the age of 29 directly from K. Pattabhi Jois. Continuing her practice under R. Sharath Jois until his passing, she is one of the few people to learn and actively practice into the challenging Fifth Series of Ashtanga Yoga.

Building a global Yoga community

In 2006, Kino co-founded Miami Life Center with her husband, Tim Feldmann. This center serves as a space where yoga, holistic health, and consciousness come together through classes, workshops, and teacher training programs. In 2017, she launched Omstars, the world's first yoga TV network, making traditional yoga teachings accessible to a global audience. Students from all over the world join her on Omstars, tune in to her podcast, and find inspiration from her social media channels.
