yoga garden san francisco

Yoga Garden in San Francisco is a yoga school offering Iyengar, Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa and Prenatal classes. From small classes for beginners to more challenging classes for advanced students, Yoga Garden has a large variety to choose from. Teachers are all really knowledgeable, with a particular attention to students to make sure everyone is doing the poses correctly. The yoga experience in every class is welcoming and authentic.

Nothing hippy-ish about this place, it’s just calm and stylish, with the lovely garden area to get you in the mood. Launched in 1998, Yoga Garden is committed to four principles. First, to teach yoga safely and  to improve a persons’ health. Second, to keep it grounded, starting with the physical experience and moving to the spiritual practice. Third, to keep it interesting– as yoga is a lot about the unfolding of self discovery and finally, to be dedicated to creating relationships based on trust, respect, and a shared interest in personal growth.

The yoga teacher trainings they offer prepare students for a well rounded and exploration of yoga. You can choose from a 200 or a 500 hour yoga teacher trainings (Yoga Alliance registered). If you are interested by they also offer a specific training.

A little plus, they have mats to use for free!
