Yogi Times is out to explore the “hotspots” in the community, where our readers can go to find interesting things to do, hidden treasures and mindful gifts off the beaten path. Not your everyday trip to the mall, we search for special spots that will appeal to those who are looking for more than your basic retail. Let’s take a stroll into Eagle Rock.

Tucked between Pasadena and Glendale, in California, Eagle Rock is a mountainous escape from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles. The storeowners and the locals are warm, friendly and supportive of one another, giving the area a small town feel. There are some gems not to be missed along Colorado and Eagle Rock Boulevards. If you are in the area, make a day trip and pamper yourself with a facial, a Pilates class, a healthy meal, a gift for yourself or someone else, and a taste of wine (in no particular order!).
