During my travels in Portugal, I discovered Tipi Valley, which is an authentic, off the grid, and eco-friendly venue located in the Costa Vincentina Natural Park in Aljezur (Algarve, Portugal).

Tipi Valley offers a beautiful location as well as a unique experience in a sustainable environment. With products sourced locally and a focus on responsible recycling, Tipi is conscious of both nature and animals.

In keeping with Aljezur ‘s community ethos, the owner, Lawrence J. Quirk, has come together with a number of local businesses to create mutually beneficial partnerships that contribute to the growth of Aljezur, the businesses he works with, and the general area. His vision was to create a charming and authentic venue to offer an unforgettable experience to his guests that create fantastic memories. 

The camp has multiple spacious tents to sleep in and the facilities are simple yet charming and comfortable. You are very much in tune with nature when staying here. I really enjoyed the eco-friendly spirit and the locally sourced food. Tipi Valley has its own vegetable garden, orchard, and fruit trees. With 2 daily yoga classes and surf sessions on the stunning nearby beaches, you have a variety of options in regards to how to spend your time in this paradise. 

During my visit, we not only had a relaxing, fun and healthy experience but also met an amazing group of like-minded inspiring people from all over the world. The location, the delicious food, the staff, the surf, our group and the whole atmosphere in Tipi Valley is one of kind and a must visit!

Last but not least, the owner is currently building 3 self-contained apartments nearby Tipi Valley that can be rented for your perfect summer retreat or winter escape. The three apartments can accommodate up to 15 people and also includes an indoor yoga studio. They come with an amazing view of the valley and the ocean in the distance.
