Divine Goddess is THE one-stop boutique in Seminyak for all things yoga related. Australian team Gil and Susie decided to open the space in the busy south Bali area. “We could have opened yet another yoga shop in Ubud and seen the profits rolling in”, Gil says “but when in Bali, we are based in Seminyak, and thought it important to add to the community by establishing our store, and studio (upstairs from the shop) in a central spot at the beginning of Raya Seminyak”.

With a long background in the yoga retail business, the couple know their public well and their passion for sharing their love of yoga comes across the carefully curated product range at the store. Ninety percent of the garments on sale are original designs from their own brand, also called Divine Goddess. Susie tests all of the items in her Ashtanga second series yoga practice to make sure they are comfortable and practical for yogis. They also carry a selection of high quality Australian yoga and gym brands and jewelry from Aum Rudraska and Ananda from Bali, as well as Satya from the US.

This is the place to go in Seminyak for yoga mats (manufactured to their high quality specs), yoga mat bags, blocks, straps, non-slip matt towels, meditation pillows, and basically any yoga prop you could need. The store also carries incense, candles, home fragrances, yoga books and DVDs as well as music from inspiring Kirtan and spiritual genre musicians.

Divine Goddess aims to be a stopping point for the Seminyak area yoga community – with its adjoining studio and next-door raw food restaurant, it’s a space you want to linger in before and after a class, as well as the spot to get more information on yoga happenings in the area: they happily carry the class schedules for all of the nearby studios and post information on any yoga-related event in the area.

Prize Range: 40,000 IDR – 2,000,000 IDR

Opening Time: 7am to 9pm

This place is best for: stocking up on all your yoga props and indulging in some post class shopping.
