ct coffee & coconuts

CT Coffee & Coconuts is the hotspot in The Pijp for coffee, breakfast, lunch or dinner. They opened in a former cinema built in the roaring 20s, called the Ceintuur Theater. The huge art deco building was abandoned for years and has been transformed into a light and cozy place, as soon as you have entered you feel true happiness. If you are a design addict you will love this place.

There is seating on three levels on sofas and barstools on the main floor, and upstairs at cozy tables and nooks on the mezzanine, decorated with the help of Atelier Sukha, who makes beautiful interior items in a sustainable way.

The owner is Bas Beijer, who was the owner of the Hutspot Café at the van Woustraat. Together with the former owners of beach bar Tijn Akersloot they have created a concept that brings together inspiring food makers who like to share their passion with the customers. For example: coffee of Bocca, and with Oedipus Brewery they made a beer especially for CT Coffee & Coconuts.

The meals are original, home made and truly delicious with plenty of healthy options. Try the overnight buckwheat porridge, coconut pancakes, pearl barley with artichoke and ricotta or tabouleh with cauliflower and herbs. Also on the menu are delicious fresh juices.

A perfect place to hang out for good food & drinks. When you order a coconut juice, it comes in a coconut, which feels like being in the tropics.
