If flavorful food with a local diner atmosphere containing an open kitchen works within your definition of a “Good” restaurant, then I highly recommend bringing yourself to California Vegan.
This Thai influenced restaurant has a great moderately priced vegan menu with plenty to offer all of your taste buds. Whether your interest of the day calls for curry or deep fried “Chicken (soy)” you will be happy with your selection. The portions are plenty for any appetite and the service holds a fine note as well. During the lunch hours you can expect one waitress handling the seven booths with ease, and who is extremely versed in the menu.
If dining in is not available for your schedule, the take out menu surely is not going to be a poor substitute. Delivery is an option if the rain happens to keep you in or your favorite movie has you glued.
Though California Vegan lacks intimacy this neighborhood spot is perfect for meeting with friends for a casual yet delicious meal. The crowd in its Los Angeles fashion is diverse in every sense of the word. Vegan restaurants often have a pension to leave one walking out still having an appetite.
Vegans, Vegetarians and Meat-eaters can rest assure that this establishment will satisfy your hunger. I welcome such a restaurant in my local neighborhood anytime!
Now go taste for yourself, you will not be disappointed.
