Set in the heart of Ubud, this yoga center is your perfect place to escape the throngs of exploring tourists and the chaos of traffic. Stepping into Ubud Yoga Center, you are welcomed by a modern open floor plan with a vast, lush view overlooking the river, all a gentle reminder that it is time to relax and rejuvenate your mind and body.

Every detail of this center has been carefully curated by its owner, Mony Suriani, who left her demanding career in finances to pursue her passion of alternative healing, health, and yoga.

From the locally made glass blocks walls that help create a quiet and peaceful interior, to the solar powered panels on the roof that help light the building, Mony has thoughtfully created this complex to be a mixture of a yoga center, retreat, cafe, kids center, and more.

We chatted with Mony over the most delicious cup of ginger tea from their cafe and couldn’t help but feel her dedication to helping others and positivity shine through as she masterfully balanced being a gracious host to us, a doting mother to her 3 beautiful daughters that occasionally came over for a quick snuggle, and a masterful businesswoman with yoga studios in both Jakarta (Yoga@42) and Ubud.

The Sunday morning Hot Ashtanga class is set in the most serene studio that allows the morning sun to fill the room with natural light. With each change of position, there is the opportunity to glance out at the sweepingly green views of the forest and river. A great way to start the day with gratitude, nature, and yoga. To end your week, they often offer community Ecstatic Dancing on Saturday evening.

They offer classes that cater to all levels so you will surely find something that will make your time at Ubud Yoga Centre pleasant, tranquil, and memorable.
