“Attachment is the source of suffering. The end of attachment will bring the end of suffering.” Buddha

We love this wisdom from Buddha because it’s a reminder that we are usually the source of our own suffering. Clinging to our thoughts, judgments, and beliefs about how a situation should be can often leave us attached to unhappiness.

Here’s the thing, the more we hold on to the way we think things should be, the less likely we are to embrace something new from the life that is waiting for us.

We create attachment whenever we become invested in the desired outcome. It is the opposite of acceptance and surrender.

At YOGI TIMES UNIVERSITY, our top Spiritual Life Coach Christine Hassler is passionate about supporting thousands of people out of attachment and limitation, and into fulfillment.

She believes it is a courageous choice to let go of the limiting beliefs and attachment that has been holding us back.

Christine says, “The more we practice non-attachment and move into acceptance of what the Universe has planned for us, the less we suffer. It’s simple, yet often challenging to practice. There is a way to break through the limitations holding you back from the life you want, and I’m here to show you how.”

Today, we encourage you to reflect on what you are attached to. Consider the specific outcomes you are longing for and all the thought patterns that keep repeating. Are you holding onto an opinion about how a situation should be?

After coaching thousands of people through this, Christine shares, “Think about something you are struggling with, and just for a moment, let go of your attachment to the outcome. Stretch yourself into a different perspective… what if you are here to influence your life, not control it? Surrender to what is happening rather than clinging onto the desired outcome. Then notice the new sensations in your body.”

Feels great, doesn’t it?
