Connie Lopez-Hood

Connie A. Lopez-Hood holds an MFA in Poetry,  edits for the online poetry journal shuf (www.shufpoetry.com), writes online for Big Bear Yoga (www.bigbearyoga.com), creates and sells jewelry for Skyward Earth (www.etsy.com/shop/SkywardEarth), and blogs irregularly at www.tattoosandpowersuits.blogspot.com.  She spear-headed and edited the chapbook anthology, Blankets & Other Poems: Poetry for the People of Japan, in which all proceeds were donated to Red Cross Japan Tsunami & Earthquake Relief. Her poetry can be seen in The Newer York, Apercus, Gaga Stigmata, Our Stories, Polari Journal, and Poydras Review, among others. She lives in the Southern California mountains with her poet-spouse, two artsy step-kids, and three wily rescue dogs.
