a simple meditation tip

Not into meditation? Just take a break from sitting and go for a walk. Walking amidst nature, in a park, or a garden, can be particularly relaxing.

Walking meditation is meditation in action. Walk with complete mindfulness and keep your eyes open. The walk becomes your main focus. Notice every step you take, the feeling of your feet touching the ground. Synchronize your breath with your pace and bring your awareness to the length of your stride and the motion of your arms as they sway with each step. 

This walking meditation can be fitted into the gaps of our day. Even walking from the car to the bank becomes an opportunity for a minute’s walking meditation!
