Sweet soothing tea

This tea is particularly enjoyable on a cold day, but can also be served as an ice tea.

Place 4 cups of spring water into a large pan and bring to boil.

Peel the ginger root and cut into small slices. Wash the lemongrass and cut into a few pieces. Place both ingredients into the boiling pan.

Add the cinnamon stick and the dried stevia.

Simmer for 10 minutes.

Add the lemon juice just before serving.


Notes & tips:

Take off the stevia if you don't want a sweet tea flavor, or add another sweetener if you cannot find stevia leaves.

  • 3 fresh lemongrass sticks
  • 1 large fresh ginger root piece
  • 1 tablespoon of dried stevia
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1-2 lime (juiced)
  • 4 cups of spring water
