What could be better than an amazing yoga class or a favorite farmers market….A Night of Green Beauty, that’s what!
Waiting patiently for the past few months, I attended A Night for Green Beauty at the lovely W Hotel in Westwood on August 7, 2014. Coveted green beauty brand, La Bella Figura hosted this lovely event of 22 incredible green product lines from scents to skincare to cosmetics. Women in attendance looked ethereal as they glided across the room adorned in hand made fresh flower wreaths to the Pressed Juicery station, the mini mani station, or the makeup lounge. Some of the brands in attendance were La Bella Figura, Odacite, Kahina Giving Beauty, Zoe Organics, May Lindstrom Skin, Sheswai, One Love Organics, Osima Organics, African botanics, Josh Rosebrook, Indie Lee, Strange Invisible Perfumes, Skin And Bones, MUN, Gressa Skin, SW Basics of BK, Province Apothecary, H. Gillerman Organics, MV Organics, Lurk, Juice Beauty, Alima Pure, and Beautycounter.
I have happily flaunted, and overly expressed myself with my hands this week in my Sheswai painted nails in Yowza a gorgeous fuchsia/purple metallic. I adorned my bathroom and body with the chic packaging and luxurious marula oil from African Botanics.
The beauty of this event was the ability to connect with all of the beautiful and passionate creators or brand reps from each line. Like a child on Halloween with a bag full of candy, I was positively giddy looking at the packaging and products and talking green beauty with a host of people.
