Have you ever stopped and noticed all the clutter around the house, all the junk stuffed in your garage and closets, and wondered if perhaps there wasn’t a better place to put your money? I did a brief count and my back started to ache just at the thought of it! There are so many benefits in taking the time to chill and renew yet it seems that we tend to spend more money on “things” than we do on ourselves.
A long hour of deep tissue massage, or the glow of renewed skin after a deep cleansing facial is still looked at by many as a luxury or unnecessary expense. Yet, isn’t our body our host for life; a temple to respect and cherish so that the mind can be free to expand?
I have always believed that there are certain people with a gift for healing through massage and I have always considered myself to be a great receiver! It takes a conscious decision to be receptive to the healing benefits of massages and similar treatments.
After each time I receive a treatment, the first thought that always comes to my mind is to get someone who I know is tense and overworked a gift certificate for a spa. After these past 2 months of research on the best spots to “receive,” I am really looking forward to Mother’s Day! I have it all planned out and have already booked some pampering appointments for the “oh, so precious” body hosting my mother’s soul.

Namaste,
