Welcome to Chakra Astrology. Each sign is ruled by one of the seven planets that can be seen in the sky with our eyes. From the top down, they are: Jupiter, the Moon, Venus, Mercury, the Sun, Mars and Saturn. These planets equate with the seven Chakras, which is reflected by the colors below.
Those who fare best this month are the negotiators and moderators. November’s events are tied to Mars, indicating evaluations, re-assessment and strategies regarding physical resources, personal values, autonomy, pleasure and self-sufficiency. Add Retrograde Mercury near month’s end along with a Retrograde Saturn and there could be some real confusion regarding interpretation and communication of the rules that we all live within.

Sagittarius (11/23-12/22)- In early November your mood shifts dramatically. You finish up a course of study, or travel, and then you buckle down, become more serious and focus on long-term designs and plans. Remember, to create something of lasting value it takes a great deal of initial ‘sweat equity’ to reap rewards later on.
Cancer (6/23-7/22)- I know that you felt relieved this summer when you were finally released from the cosmic hot seat; now you get to apply the difficult lessons of years past in ways that can be more rewarding than you currently imagine. This comes with a price tag though: willingness to bring your resources and assets together with others and be in service to humanity at large brings the greatest new successes.
Taurus (4/21-5/21)- Leadership is not a word that is ordinarily ascribed to you, yet now you feel an unprecedented call to lead - especially in the arenas of personal values and philosophical oneness. ‘If we cannot stand together then surely we will tear ourselves apart,’ should be your motto now as you find yourself in the unique position to both witness certain systems dissolve and work to build new ones that replace them.
Gemini (5/22-6/22)- You’re on an adventure, exploring new ideas, places and exotic natives from far away lands for the first half of the month. After the 14th though, you review and re-evaluate new partnerships and people that you have met on your travels. Some may even suddenly re-emerge. It’s exhausting to give birth to a new personal and fashion philosophy, but you’re up to the job!
Aries (3/21-4/20)- If your energy is feeling erratic, you can blame it on Mars who is dancing backwards in your area of finances. Something begun in August is under scrutiny and review. While evaluating your life and values, you find that now is the time to get rid of old clutter that no longer reflects who you are. Make the circle of spiritual renewal complete by giving old goods, money or time to charity.
Aquarius (1/22-2/20)- You desire to propel yourself forward against limitations placed on your personal freedom and frustrations at the difficulty involved in reaching your dreams or long-term desires. Now is the time to evaluate carefully, streamline, engage assistance and generally organize your momentum. Look for simple, long-term solutions.

Pisces (2/21-3/19)- You find yourself caught up in something that is being dissolved. Or are you the one doing the dissolving, or feeling dissolved? Whatever side of the equation you’re on, remember that when something ends, it makes room for something better to take its place. Keep your eye on manifesting long-term balance based on the needs of your group.
Libra (9/23-10/22)- You’re the charming business negotiator now, forging new pacts and deals with a grace and effortlessness that others envy. Travel is good for the first week of November. After that you get down to brass tacks and carve something serious out of all this talk. Your tact and diplomacy are put to the test as you become the middleman negotiating two opposing forces.
Virgo (8/23-9/22)- Identifying a useful philosophical approach to home, family and roots is your assignment this month. Once you take care of the roots, you can then begin to enjoy the fruits - so don’t be discouraged. Keep your eye on the task in front of you and some reward for your efforts may come sooner than you expect. The key is to look inward in November.
Leo (7/23-8/22)- Your image and pocketbook both need a little extra cautious attention. Are you really projecting the identity that you want? Will it work for you in the long run, or will you regret it later, like that picture above your Mom’s mantle of you wearing leg-warmers and plaid? Some ideas are good for a moment, and others deserve to be preserved for posterity.
Scorpio (10/23-11/22)- You are deeply involved in your desire and pursuit of the perfect partnership right now. With so much riding on your choices, you feel real fear of making the wrong one. Take a lesson from Gemini, the twins (or any twins for that matter) and learn how to practice living in life’s large ‘grey areas’ and comparison shop before committing.
Capricorn (12/23-1/21)- It takes hard work to bring your inner, fire-breathing dragon out for public scrutiny. If it was up to you, nobody, but you and your passion partner would be allowed to see your inner hedonist. After the 20th, you begin on a deep, inner journey to decide if all this attention is what you really want. Perhaps you even rethink your whole idea of recognition, attention and worldly accomplishment.
