Welcome to Chakra Astrology. Each sign is ruled by one of the seven planets that can be seen in the sky with our eyes. From the top down, they are: Jupiter, the Moon, Venus, Mercury, the Sun, Mars and Saturn. These planets equate with the seven Chakras, which are reflected by the colors below.

Mars opposes Pluto in the early part of the month, which brings power struggles and conflicts of will to the surface. The good news: You will be able to get it all accomplished through delegation and organization. Luck and opportunity also favor artistic ventures, and anything to do with the Internet or the public.

Aries (3/21-4/20) – Spectacular alignments bring you grace, agility and a sharp wit as the month begins. This certainly makes you popular! Around mid-month, you find yourself entangled and wrestling with responsibilities and family demands. Unusual thinking, a creative approach and the ability to tap into the needs and desires of the masses provide solutions and creative sparks after the 23rd.

Taurus (4/21-5/21) – You’re one pretty baby that people are drawn to now – especially as the month begins. Intrigue, flirtation and sexual innuendo are so thick you need a knife to cut through it all. But you’re not to be trifled with now, and you could find yourself making demands by mid-month. If that leaves you as a free agent after the full moon on the 13th, just know that you are most definitely the object of someone’s obsession as the month ends with a Taurus new moon.

Gemini (5/22-6/22) – Your easy breezy attitude allows many things to sail right past you. This month, your talent for being the social butterfly brings you right into the middle of the current ‘action’ – even into the spotlight. Just don’t fall into power plays or competitive dramas. The month ends with you making great headway in your career, and being recognized for that special way with words that you possess.

Cancer (6/23-7/22) – In early April, you’re juggling the effects of last month’s eclipse, which may have dramatically shifted your career direction or focus. The full moon in Libra on the 13th illuminates ways that you can improve your effectiveness and alliances. It’s time to re-establish your balance in partnerships. When beginning something new, it is very helpful to have a clear idea of what you want to create – next month you’re likely to get it.

Leo (7/23-8/22) – Early in April, business and career enhancements begun last month will occupy your attention and focus. By the time the full moon rolls around on the 13th, you have found a way to align yourself with power and create a new image or public impression. Career frustrations or misinterpretations could surface at the end of the month though, as well as possible concerns over someone’s health: handle important business in the first half of the month.

Virgo (8/23-9/22) – You definitely have the ability to create a fabulous image, and if you are an artist, your creativity is in top form. Gaining some technical or technological savvy is also favored. Mid-month you want to avoid aggressive people and be careful on the road. As the month ends, business and family demands require a lot of your energy, and have some challenging moments. End the month with some romance!

Libra (9/23-10/22) – Your remarkable ability to be physically and verbally graceful early in the month makes you popular, even when you have to deal with challenges or take a tough stance around the 7th. Secret meetings and clandestine plans are your focus, until you are ready to take your ideas to the world in early May. In the meantime, you can align yourself with someone famous and powerful around the 17th.

Scorpio (10/23-11/22) – Sex. OK, there I said it. It’s what’s on your mind practically all month, so you might as well decide what you want to do about it. You can use that energy for enjoyment and/or channel it into creative and artistic pursuits, but it could be a mighty distraction. By the middle/end of the month you are faced with obstacles or limitations. This is the time to figure out how to use whatever lights your fire to create lasting projects or work.

Sagittarius (11/23-12/22) – The spectacular alignments this month virtually guarantee that anything you are involved in can get public attention and even acclaim. But it’s not all daisies; obstacles do exist, especially in the form of hard work and weighty responsibilities. But some of the year’s biggest challenges are behind you, so take advantage of the unprecedented popularity and attention you are getting now. After the 26th you have truly great luck on your side.

Capricorn (12/23-1/21) – There’s no doubt about it, someone has poured hot sauce into your comfortable bath – and the water is heating up. Concerns, news, and information about family matters become the focus of your attention near the end of the month. Someone’s reputation could be on the line, or their worldly accomplishments, or legacy may require attention and caretaking. Your good work ethic, and willingness to handle issues is your greatest advantage now.

Aquarius (1/22-2/20) – I know you’ve been stressed for the past few months, but thankfully April brings you relief in the form of public attention to your causes, action on your plans and good press. Whew, you’ve got to be relieved. Like Capricorn, you may also have family matters to deal with, but there should be plenty of support and encouragement to help you along with any challenges. Your rebellious nature brings you to creative and inventive solutions.

Pisces (2/21-3/19) – Your big-picture plans are gaining plenty of traction and even financial support (or at least popularity). Legal or publishing problems may persist, but the worst is over. Towards the end of the month, career and profit concerns take center stage for you. Be careful not to let a glamorous illusion take you off your carefully constructed course at the end of the month. Gambling is fun, but not a good long-term strategy.
