WHAT'S NEW
Greetings,
As Americans, we are blessed to have at our disposal a wealth of
opportunities to enrich and bring comfort and beauty into our lives.
One way of doing this, which many of us take for granted, is the
opportunity to travel. Hopping on a plane and jetting off to an exotic
or exciting destination is just another part of the lifestyle that
we’ve claimed as our birthright. But while we all enjoy the
opportunity to experience other parts of the world and explore the
beauty and mystery that our world has to offer, it’s becoming
apparent that our journeys actually have the potential to damage the
very people and places that we seek to enjoy.
In this issue of Yogi Times we sought out destinations and resources to
help you travel in a socially and environmentally responsible way,
while giving up none of the excitement and comfort that a vacation
experience can offer. So enjoy this vibrant issue and take the
planet into consideration on your next vacation.
Also, we congratulate the Indian Film Festival for taking measures to
go green this year. We were proud to be their Sustainable Business
Consultants for their EcoVision. We love receiving your
letters and hearing your feedback.
