It's never too late to be what you might have been.

Editor's Notes

One of the great things about living in California is that we are at the forefront of the latest movements in the spa industry and have the unique opportunity to access new venues, treatments and experiences as soon as they become available. Spa directors at day spas, resorts and destination spas have become so educated on the benefits of treatments that their approaches to relaxation go deeper than the once fluffy pampering sessions. What the spa industry is offering today is the opportunity to experience deeper overall health with an array of healing and rejuvenating treatments, as well as a large variety of programs that range from healthy cooking to intensive detox programs to sleep therapy. In this month’s cover story, Nicole Peyraud has highlighted some of the places and treatments that are part of the movement encouraging us to shift from seeking to look good to—more importantly—feeling good.

In addition, this month’s pages of Yogi Times offer the opportunity to dive into a new series of our popular Exploring the Classics section, where Robert Birnberg shows us how the Sutras can heal and free us from addictions.

When the mind and the body are soothed, nurtured and healed, the discovery of the self becomes a wonderful journey toward the possibility of pure creation. Tapping into our deepest sense of creativity allows us to be who we are truly here to be. Our team thrives every month to provide a platform for education and inspiration, so that you walk the path to your true self. Your thoughts, reactions and ideas are so important to us so that we continue to understand our vibrant community, allowing us to provide what you—the conscious community—are seeking. Speak your mind on our blogs, explore our Web site, watch our TV shows on YT•TV and let us know if we are doing a good job at[email protected].
