We thought of sharing with you a special technique for increasing your concentration. And the more easily you can concentrate, the more easily you will be able to meditate.
Here it goes: Light a candle and sit down in front of it.
A darkened room is the best. Now, gaze at the candle for as long as you can without blinking. When you have to blink, close your eyes for five breaths. You might see the image of the candle flame between your eyes.
Keep your mind focused on it! Then, open your eyes and stare at the flame again. Just as you did before, close your eyes for five breaths when you blink and concentrate again. Carry on doing this for five to ten minutes.
Do this every day and voila!
You’ll soon find yourself concentrating much more easily.
