A delicious healthy bruschetta that features the healing power of hummus. Made with garbanzo beans as a base, fresh hummus can be easily bought in any grocery store or made fresh with all sorts of addtitional ingredients like lemon, beet, red pepper, avocado.

Did you know that garbanzo beans contain a molybdenum, a substance that helps the body detoxify from sulfites found in wine and preserved meats? That would make this recipe a great appetizer for those who are on an elimination diet or vegan cleanse.

Wash and cut the cucumber into thin slices (about 1/4 to 1/2 inch.)

Place the slices on a plate and top each one with a half teaspoon of your favorite hummus.

Sprinkle a pinch of paprika on each one. Cut the nori sheet into little squares and place one on top of each cucumber bruschetta.

Prepare just before serving so the bruschettas stays fresh.

Enjoy!
