Introducing  children to meditation will allow them to learn to develop their attention and their focus. There are many ways a child can learn to meditate. Basic meditation techniques like listening to the breath or visualizing landscapes  and colors will take them to a place of inner calmness that can stop the chatter of their often over stimulated minds. Children need time to understand the connection between the feeling  of peacefulness they are experiencing and the stillness of meditation.

They will start enjoying these moments of quiet time and often use meditation as a great tool to overcome the challenge of homework and heavy school schedule.
